  • cabbage, thinly sliced, 1/4 head

  • 1 cup Bone Broth, homemade

  • 1/4 cup tomato paste

  • onion, 1/4 cup, diced

  • garlic, 2 cloves, diced

  • Basil, fresh, qb

  • Himalayan Salt, qb

  • Chilly pepper, 2, whole

  • Bacon, 3 rashers, diced

  • ground beef, 1/4 pound

  • 2 eggs

  • italian spices, q.b.

  • EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil), q.b.

  • Parmesan cheese, q.b. (optional)

Cabbage Spaghetti

This is an adaptation of a patient’s spaghetti recipe! I added extra EVOO and Parmesan cheese on top. This was so filling I only had half of it but it was delicious! The macros for this is actually slightly higher in fat because i don't believe it takes into account the bacon fat that it's all cooked in. This is perfectly keto. Serves 2.

How to Prepare:

  1. Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add the 3 rashers bacon diced. Chops the onion and cook in the bacon fat. Add the ground beef and spices.

  2. Pour in the Bone Broth and tomato paste and let it simmer.

  3. Chop the cabbage and add to pot 3/4 of the way done cooking (only takes about 15 minutes).

  4. Serve hot with fresh basil, EVOO and parmesan cheese (option). 

  5. Serves 2.
