Ingredients:

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tbsp almond flour

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp ground flaxseeds

  • 1 tsp applesauce (unsweetened)

  • 2 tsp butter

  • 1 slice Provalone cheese

  • 1 slice Turkey, Natural Selections

New 90 Second Bread

In my search for a better tasting Keto Bread, I decided to look at old recipes and modify. This microwave bread I made from an old Paleo recipe. Note that it does has a teaspoon of unsweetened applesauce which makes all the difference in the taste but doesn’t raise carbs much. Each dose makes 2 mini sandwiches. A new favourite for me. I had it with butter and a slice of Provalone cheese and Natural Selections Turkey. Recipe and Macros below.

How to Prepare:

  1. Mix egg, almond flour, baking powder, salt, flax and applesauce in a microwaveable mug.

  2. Microwave for 90 seconds.

  3. Remove from mug onto a plate (caution hot!).

  4. Slice into 4 slices, and toast.

  5. Butter the toast.

  6. Cut each slice of cheese and ham in half and make 2 mini sandwiches.
